Colored sketch from Otherland by Tad Williams. If you haven't read all of it, don't read the rest of the description. ;)

I don't think there's any need for mature warning here, seeing as it's only two men's butts, and they are far away. Correct me if I'm wrong. :)

*** Spoiler alert ***

Well, those of you that have read it, probably recognize the scene from where they are climbing down that black mountain. Renie Sulaweyo is comforting Sam Fredricks, who still mourns her best friend Orlando Gardiner. Further down the path is Felix Jongleur and !Xabbu. I didn't include Ricardo Klement (or whatever his name was), because I just couldn't see him fit in there.

Hehe, always is useful to read again Otherland!! But, you have to have a lot of time...
I started again Otherland the last week and i am about 300 pages of Mountain of Cristal Glass and it has been very interesting because I discovered many things that had escaped me before.
It is not good to read Otherland very quickly because you can lose many details.

So, if you have time I recommend you to read the books again... !!
Do you like power metal music?
Have you listen Blind Guardian song?

I think I will have enough time this summer. Unless I read other books. I tend to read a lot on the beach. ;)

Great capture of the feeling in this scene. I almost ate my heart out, when reading it and this makes the sadness come back a bit. I guess, that's a compliment for your skills as an artist :)
I find Sams face very realistic and really great done!
